Here are the basic student visa conditions you must comply with:

- - Inform your education provider of your residential address within seven days of arriving in Australia and update them of any changes within seven days.
- - If changing education providers, inform your current provider within seven days of receiving an Electronic Confirmation of Enrolment (eCoE) from your new provider.
- - If you are an unaccompanied student applicant under 18 years of age, you must have written approval from your education provider before making any changes to your accommodation or welfare arrangements in Australia.
The visa application process also involves an assessment level system, which depends on both the applicant's country of residence and the chosen visa subclass. Each applicant is assigned an assessment level on a scale of 1 to 3, with level 1 being the lowest and level 3 the highest.
