Australia has become a highly sought-after destination for international students due to its world-class education system. In recent years, student visa applications have seen a consistent upward trend, with nearly 300,000 student visas granted in just one year alone. With the right choice of course, you can pave the way for skilled visa options in the future. Our experienced counselors are here to help you not just with visa advice but also with career planning and future work opportunities in Australia.

Our team at Endeavour Visas Consultants will ensure that your student visa process is smooth and hassle-free. From selecting the right education provider to submitting the necessary visa applications, we guide you through every step of the way. Contact us to discuss your career goals and how we can assist you in achieving them.

Here are the basic student visa conditions you must comply with:

  • - Fulfill your course requirements and maintain valid enrollment throughout your stay.
  • - Maintain Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) for yourself and any accompanying family members during your stay.
  • - Leave Australia before your visa expires, or apply for another eligible visa.
  • - Stay with the education provider you initially enrolled with for the first six months of your course (or for the entire course duration if it’s less than six months).
  • - Inform your education provider of your residential address within seven days of arriving in Australia and update them of any changes within seven days.
  • - If changing education providers, inform your current provider within seven days of receiving an Electronic Confirmation of Enrolment (eCoE) from your new provider.
  • - If you are an unaccompanied student applicant under 18 years of age, you must have written approval from your education provider before making any changes to your accommodation or welfare arrangements in Australia.

The visa application process also involves an assessment level system, which depends on both the applicant's country of residence and the chosen visa subclass. Each applicant is assigned an assessment level on a scale of 1 to 3, with level 1 being the lowest and level 3 the highest. The higher the level, the more evidence you will need to provide, such as financial capability and English proficiency.

If you fall under assessment level 2 or 3, you are required to submit your first student visa application while outside Australia. If you apply from outside Australia and are assessed at level 3 or 4, you will need to provide:

  • - An 'offer of a place' letter from your Australian education provider when you submit your application.
  • - An Electronic Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE) after you have lodged your application (if requested by the Australian overseas mission).

For those applying from within Australia at assessment level 1 or 2, or for any assessment level, a Certificate of Enrolment (CoE) is required at the time of application submission. A letter of offer is generally acceptable for application submission but must be followed by a CoE for visa approval.

At Endeavour Visas Consultants, we help you determine your assessment level and guide you on the necessary documentation and processes involved in securing your student visa. Contact us for in-depth advice on the latest visa policies and how to optimize your chances of success.

Lastly, the key evidentiary requirements for student visa applications include:

  • - Your ability to cover the cost of airfares, tuition fees, and living expenses for your stay in Australia.
  • - Your financial capacity to support accompanying family members, including airfares and school tuition fees.
  • - Your level of English proficiency as per the assessment level and course requirements.
  • - Personal and financial commitments in your home country that indicate your intention to return after your studies.
  • - Your academic history and how it aligns with the course you plan to undertake in Australia.
  • - Your previous immigration history and whether you have complied with immigration laws.

Our dedicated team will guide you through every step of the process, ensuring compliance with the Genuine Temporary Entrant (GTE) rules throughout your application process.
